Before contacting us or making an order these frequently asked questions may be of help to you:-
Q) I notice on my order that when I checkout I am still being charged for postage even though my order is above £50, which should entitle me to Free Postage ?
A) Please complete the transaction and all postage costs will be refunded straight away to you. Unfortunately the system does not allow us to have the facility to automatically give free postage and packaging on orders above £50
Q)I am an existing customer, do I need to re-register and where are my existing pre-orders?
A)Sadly it was impossible for us to integrate the old site with the new one, so please create a new account.
Q)Do you have an actual store?
A)Unfortunately we closed our store in July 2011, however visits can be made to my home address by appointment only, these will need to be at weekends, due to work commitments.
Q) Is it really free shipping?
A) As long as you spend over £50 and are based in UK then shipping is 100% free. If you are outside the UK shipping is very competitive and the checkout will show you exact cost.
Q) Are all your products new?
A) Yes all are brand new and sealed products, very occasionally a product may be sold unboxed or with damaged packaging but this will clearly be stated on product info.
Q) How long shall I expect to wait for my order?
A) Usually orders are processed within 2-3 days, often quicker. If you mix pre-orders and in stock items we will not ship the order until all pre-order products are avaialble, so if you require in stock items immediately then order these seperately. If an item is urgent we offer a next day shipping option.
Q) What couriers do you use to deliver?
A) Smaller orders will be sent via Royal Mail, larger or more expensive orders will use couriers such as DPD or City Link who will require a signature on delivery. If a trackable method is required we offer DPD service which can take 2-5 days.
Q) I want to pre-order something but when will my payment be taken?
A) Paypal / Card payments are taken straight away, we are currently looking at a number of other methods which will allow deferred payments.
Q) Are all your items in stock now?
A) Excluding pre-orders, back orders and items that are listed as "out of stock" all our items are available, to get around the system so it allows us to offer pre-orders/back orders an item will show as in stock, but it is clearly listed in the title as PRE-ORDER or BACK ORDER along with an expected ship date.
Q) My item never arrived, what shall I do?
A) We have to allow 10 working days for UK Royal Mail items before we can offer a replacement, and 20 days outside the UK. In our experience 99% of "missing" items are held at sorting depots for no reason at all, cards are not left so we always ask you check here first. Courier items are a lot easy to track and can be resolve a lot faster, We will always replace an item(not refund) or if not available offer alternatives. To avoid fraudulent claims of loss we will do a like for like replacement.
Q) An item I want is out of stock, do you have it or can you get it?
A) Usually our full inventory is on the site, if we can restock a good selling item we will. Not all items are restocked.
Q) I want an item that is not on your site, can you get it?
A) It is worth trying us with it, and very occassionally products may not be put on the site if they sell out fast in the store. We cannot usually order a single item specifically for a customer, but again, a quick phone call is always worth while.
Q) You seem to have a lot of products no one else does, why is this?
A) We import a lot of items from China,Japan and the US so we get figures that other UK shops do not.
Q) I have seen something at £xxx price in another store, and it is loads cheaper in your shop, how come?
A) We have a vast network of suppliers including clearance companies and liquidation experts so we get offered top brand and very current products at amazing prices.
Q) Do you price match?
A) In the collector market it is very hard to offer this as 1 Star Wars figure has a different value to another for example.We also stock a lot of US versions of items which are preferred in the collector market as the packaging is not multi language.
Q) Do you sell by the case / offer wholesale?
A) We do occasionally list cases on the website, mainly Star Wars or Transformers. We do offer a wholesale discount,this varies from 10% to 15% but the minimum order is £500(in stock items only). Contact us if you need more info.
Q) Do you offer bulk discount?
A) Peoples opinions of "bulk" vary, we will only offer discount on orders over £500(all items must be in stock).
